Hi guys, dont know if its been covered here but decided to do one of those little mods today.

So thought id let others see how its done.. easy job but some people worry about doing things so here goes..

You will need a 10mm drill bit as sharp as possible, Phillips screwdriver, 2 pig tail 5W push in bulb holders (ebay £1.99 for 5) and 2 x 5W pea bulbs or equivalent LED if you wish.

Take your reflectors out of your bumper by undoing the phillips head screw and pull the reflector out.

Now lay the reflector face down on a piece of thick cardboard to prevent scratching or damaging the surface.

Take a look on the back and you will see a cross shaped point of plastic sticking out.

This is the centre point of the hole that needs to be drilled.

Drill the 10mm hole slowly and dont apply much pressure as this will allow the drill bit to do the work.

Slowly drill and the swarf will be like paper thin and this will give you the best chance of not damaging those reflectors.

When you begin to breach the hole its likely that the drill will lock up in the plastic, so at this point id advise removing the drill bitfrom the drill and turning it by hand for the final part of the cut.

Once the hole is cut, simply push the bulb and holder in to the hole and boom, your done..

To wire them up, simply run an extension from your number plate lights directly to the wires on the bulb holder and join together.

Reinsert your reflectors and switch on your lights and youll have lovely lit reflectors!

Simple..

Something I have kept on mine and I believe unique, they light up like yours but flash in the same red/bulb when I signal, then return to solid red when indicators are turned off [emoji3].

I used some switchback modules, those you find in cheap sets to run the flexible strips, one per side.

The 501 filament bulbs have the one positive feed and one negative, there are 3 wires coming out of the switchback module, connect the black wire to one of the bulb terminals and twist the other two wires together which are red (sidelight) and yellow (indicator) and connect these to the other terminal.

If you're using led or smd bulbs you'll need to get the polarity correct.

EDIT: Found a vid
