I have the strangest issue with forum access from my phone. I have spoken to him regarding this issue. I can't access via the normal route through search or direct access, only via clinking the link as per below. If I type in the exact same URL directly into my phone (Android), I get nothing but a server error.

 

Any ideas what couls be causing this?

I've checked the logs for todays results on the 404 which shows a few issues i'm trying to resolve.

 

However, none of which should actually effect you directly but rather may slow a few browsers down.

Ok, so the forum won't load on my laptop either on Explorer and gives the same error. I downloaded Firefox and I can now see the forum. Very very odd.

Yo Funky, go into IE tools>internet options>advanced>restore everything and reset IE then try and veiw it :-)

Annoying you can't edit posts lol - the problem isn't global it's 100% local as it works on other android and apple devices (just tested a few to hand), have you tried typing in the direct forum link on your phone to see if you get the same error?: https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/

...btw, I have EDGE on my laptop not IE.

I reset everything, still EXACTLY the same issue. It's gone beyond frustrating, especially with access via my phone.

Honestly no idea what is causing the issues your getting Simon,

The only change made to the club site was the addition of the front page which is wordpress.

 

Before that we had a redirect to move you onto the forums section

I can't get on to anything on my phone other than through a link in the PM you sent me. Short of resetting the entire phone which I really don't want to do as I have a lot of apps for banking and other things on it. The issues started after the new front page. I could see the new front page on both phone and laptop until about 2 weeks ago. The phone went awol first and then the laptop did. Neither are connected in any way.

Why not try Tapatalk Pro and see if that works. If it does then at least you can get online until the root cause is figured out ?

I don't like Tapatalk Tony, I've already said this. I want to get it all working correctly.
