After 4 years of hiding I think it is time to show my z. Bought the car in 2014 which was a mistake but stuck to it and saved another scrappy i reckon.

I will add mod details eventually for starters some pictures will do.

Very nice and a good save. Can't say the wheels do it any favours but the rest looks great.

It's so nice seeing cars saved and restored in a sympathetic way rather than having half a boat grafted onto it and being painted a lurid colour. So glad that those dark days are behind the car now.

Nice work!

Looks superb buddy, that colour really suits this car. I like the dotz hanzo wheels a lot but reckon Si is right...not necessarily for this car. A great save, nice to see another on the road.

I don't have my vin handy but i remember it ended with 019x so i believe one of first 200 uk examples.

I do like the wheels, but they are very tired and have not been refurbed but are straight with no cracks or bends. I am still thinking if i should refurb or replace.

The list of what was needed to be done which is not exhaustive as I am sure i forgot something. And it is nowhere near to be finished.

Sills rotten all round. New sills were fabricated and welded in with new targa drains and cavities wax sprayed.

Rear subframe rotten. Replaced with good used one.

Brake pipes rotten/leaking. All replaced with new copper lines and braided HEL flexis.

Suspension worn and two speings broken. Replaced with a full set of driftworks arms, zcentre hicas delete arms removing balljoins and tein coilovers.

Front calipers seized. Refurbished with new discs and pads all round.

Steering rack boot cracked. Replaced with new tie rods both inner and outer.

All fuel lines replaced under car. Because why not?

Full underseal.

Full respray in honda r41 colour(i think) same as civics.

Maf shot. Replaced

Knock sensor shot. Replaced

Recirc valves shot, replaced with greddy made to recirculate.

Piston cracked, engine strip down full inspection. Replaced with second hand one( start throwing stones). Nee bottom end bearing as worn and new piston rings.

Turbos tested. Thankfully all good.

Clutch worn. New xtd one installed.

Newish 2 year old oem wiring loom.

Speedo broken, replaced with second hand one.

Trims refurbished.

Spoiler manufactured from fibreglass. Not happy with it so might replace it eventually.

Interior all good.

Driver window mechanism broken, replaced.

Front wiper mechanism worn, replaced.

There are a lot of stuff that might have not needed replacing but was still replaced for better parts which i have now lost track of.

Will leave a full mod list for the next day.

Sorry for making a mess of this post.
