Fitted and set new tps today and what a difference, she drives so smoooth now its unreal, seems quicker too, or am i just imagining it, any way thanks for all advice guys, im glad i spent the fourty quid its transformed it.

Maybe a really stupid question!, but what are TP's?

TPS = throttle position switch, my car was suffering a huge hesitation problem which nissan couldnt pinpoint, but advice off the chaps on here prompted me too buy one and its done the trick in a big way

Hi smw, 42 quid inc vat, dead easy to fit, i leant a multi meter, i cant tell u the dif its made, it must have been worse than i thought, well worth it m8

Why dont u try Mike Feeney at MJP for a price. In all the years I've owned various Z's I have never bought owt from a Nissan dealer as Mike has always done a better price!

 

Plus, I dont have to get off my lazy arse and drive to the dealership as it comes mail order!!! Bonus!

If you are getting the correct voltage readings from the TPS -can it still be playing up? what I mean is, are correct readings a definate sign that unit is peforming as it should?
