Hi I am looking at a Z which has as an advisory "metal hydraulic clitch pipe corroding" I dont know what is involved in getting that rectified, is it an item that can be replaced easily or is it a big and costly job, any insight into this would be most welcome. I am not a mechanic so would not be doing this myself but would like to know what I might be in for.

A simple enough job for any competent garage person.

It doesnt need a "Zed specialist" even.

There are two options on pipe.

1. Make a replacement metal pipe...which is simple and very cheap.

2. Buy a ready made one piece braided line that goes from cylinder to cylinder..
