Has anyone ran any test to see what kind of restrictions the standard airbox has on the performance of a variety of modified 300zx (chipped, exhaust, turbo upgrades, forged etc...)?
I’m finding myself being rather irritated by the noise of my cone air intake system (and the exhaust system) as I get older. However I am keen to keep the power level high and do want to look into a forged build with upgraded turbos, intercoolers, mapping and so on BUT want to keep the car civilised. Are there any 300zx out there with big power outputs yet nice and quite in the car!
