How to remove boot struts

I’m just looking for a bit of advice on how to remove the standard UK gas struts. I can’t see any retaking clips and I’m worried I’m going to break something if I push them any harder.

    They do unbolt, or if they are loose enough you can just push them off the ball joints, no clips.

    They unscrew...12mm spanner....Make sure the boot lid is well supported before you start or you will break something...probably your arm or your head.

    All the cars I’ve cut up over the years I’ve never noticed one that didn’t have retaining clips. Thanks guys! :thumbup:
