Hi guys

I been wondering if it’s possible to adjust the rear pipes of an exhaust? I’ve currently got, what appears to be, a very well made, nice sounding full custom exhaust. The only issue is I really want a quad exhaust. Has anyone made adjustments to their pipes, where did you go and where you happy with the results?

Cheers,

Chris.

That's what happened to my exhaust .

I just had my aftermarket cat back (that I took off a donor car) rebuilt (well replaced I suppose!) because it didn't match up with my aftermarket test pipes very well and was the wrong length. I kept the existing back boxes because there was nothing wrong with them and the shop said they would be about £100 each.

They are replacing the tips though as they were badly built and are somehow rusting, obviously not stainless! £200 for supplying and changing my 3.5" quads, or £100 if I supply my own.

He has pestered me to go dual, but I personally don't think they suit a zed at all - quads fill the oval cutout much better. Do it!!
