On the whole I’ve been very happy with what this young team has done for English football at the World Cup. They showed resilience, integrity, solid nerves and have helped towards reuniting their supports behind the team and I’m sure inspire another generation of kids. On the down side it still seems like we’re always going to have to score two as we’re very likely to let one in and there was still too much back chat to refs.

Looking to the future hopefully one of these players will grow to become a clear captain (I don’t think it’s Harry) or to find a solid midfielder who can control the game from the centre.

Now bring on the rugby!!!

Never called them "Hero's" but they did do well for a young inexperienced team. The divers that rescued the 12 kids in that cave are hero's.

They did there country proud is what I said and England have moved up in the rankings in the world teams.

But bring on the Rugby

I agree with you Gary. I think the team did really well & it's been great to watch for a change. & even though we're out I'm still feeling positive. Got a great chance to build a strong team for the next tournament just like Wales did in the euros.....

This reward when failed another indictment of what is wrong in today`s world, thing, schools reward kids now for failing tests ??? only in sport is failure recognised as a doing well ??, doing us proud?? back in the real world, how about the mechanic who changes your cam belt but get`s it wrong and fails at the object of the job in hand, would you say well done, you did me proud, now about a new engine....no of course not.
