London to Brighton Classic Car Run 2018

The Z is looking fantastic Gary, what a vast selection of machines, I bet you had a few funny looks from people who wouldn’t believe that you were in a 25+ year old car! Apologies I didn’t make yet another event, the Z will be serviceable again soon I hope, that was an expensive ticket thrown down the drain along with my Fat Lamb deposit!

That's a good observation Joel .

Gary's Z looks modern/futuristic in comparison to most!

Some lovely classics there.

Great pictures Gary, oddly that Rolls you’re parked next to was on my neighbours drive Sunday evening. :cool3:

I’d also be very interested in coming along next year.

Actually I was directed to the 'Sports' section and not the 'Classic' on arrival as they thought it wasn't old enough :whistling:

Sorry to hear that Joel....

…..But being Zedless was no excuse to have pulled out of the Fat Lamb trip mate...Hell there were only two Zeds staying the weekend....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I know, I have no real excuse for that and my daily drive did initially become plan B. When my wife dropped out it was frustrating but I still had the Z as company during the long driving sections, which I was happy with. However, the thought of doing all those miles in my daily drive, which is not an overly fun car to drive(!), was grating me a little.

I was still on board for the social, knowing the great bunch attending but when work got wind that the Z was unserviceable, they asked if I could cover some important work over the weekend with a very generous offer! With a necessary expense looming to fix the old girl it just made sense so I took the bait and sold myself! Sorry [emoji17]
