You have got your ignition key in and turned to the accessory position? The diagrams in the attachment

show the power supply routing to make things clearer. Some circuits work all the time (hazards for example)

others require the key in and turned to work (for example windows and indicators operated by the stalk).

Hi andrewG yes i do have the key on to accessory position,Havent a clue what the problem might be,they were a working fine the last time i drove it,around 6 months ago

Have you checked the ignition relay (see diagram I posted above)? It supplies power to the Windows, Turn and HiCAS

circuits.

The ignition relay is located on the fuse/junction block behind the drivers footwell panel - see attachment:

You should also check for water damage to the fuse/junction block (from a split or disconnected targa drain pipe) which

is a common source of electrical problems in that area.

Yeah rear of the fuse box. It’s actually not that bad to remove. Get the accelerator pedal and bonnet realise out the way, the rest is just plugs. Don’t make my mistake, two are the same and if you mix them it’s problems.

It does sound like your hazard switch is not disengaging fully, check the switch mountings in the pod, my guess it's not seated correctly and is fouling on the opening.

Hi guys I checked the relays and for sure yous were right, the rear of the fuse box was very wet,the only thing is that 2 relays seems to be not working ,blower and ignition, can these be fixed or where is the best place to buy them, thanks lads

Have you checked the targa drain above? That’s probably where the water got in. The 20a blue ones are in mk2 micras the brown ones I’m not sure.

Probably a good idea. The drain is about the fuse box, quite well hidden have a poke about. Corse the relays you need, there’s identical ones in the engine bay box, you’d be robbing Peter to pay Paul but they’re much easier to access later.

The pipe runs down the inner window pillar & out by a rubber u type pipe by the front wing.

Over time the pipe shrinks & comes adrift of the u pipe by the inner wing!

I had to do the passenger side last year & it's a pig!

Jeff has done a thread on it some time ago.
