Unfortunately I would say that is a bit more than light front end damage. The whole of the front chassis structure

has been moved backwards towards the engine. That's why the fan cowl has shattered. I've arrowed some of the

other telltale signs. Shame as it otherwise looks in good condition and is a manual.

The whole front is a big hole full of tin panels..that shroud and boost pipe damage has been caused by the slam panel being smacked back which every thing else hangs off...easy fix using parts from a breaker imho..

A whole front end cut and weld is not an easy task, probably not going to be safe either.

 

Also the frame rails would have taken a hit which could buckle all the way beside the engine.

 

Imo best to reshell.

As with any repair there can be hidden damage and there is a fair bit of kit hiding behind there but really this is a straight forward repair with the chance that legs are not damaged even the engine would not need to come out.

 

I mean after all some repairs in the past have been done that were way worse than that when 300zx cars were cheap and easy to find, depends I guess on the rest of the car.
