Hi All,

I’ve just found my leak I posted the other day and now moved on to removal of the original spoiler as I fancy something a bit more tasty.

So I’ve got the old spoiler off which was a bit of a faff, but managed to get it off clean and the metal is all solid thankfully as I was worried that the spoiler was like a wet sponge for 20 years.

Now I have it off I’m faced with a few holes and a large recess I’m not sure what to do with. Can anyone point me in the right direction to smooth off the lip at the edge of the boot and fill the hole with say a centre brake lamp or some kind of facia I can buy. I did buy an original spoiler off of Ash, but he’s gone a bit quiet.

Many thanks for looking and any advice given.

Cheers.

Did you get the spoiler from Ash? I'll give him a buzz if you want?

But if not going original spoiler then yes there is a perspex panel to fill the recess with a third brake light in. Then you can leave spoilerless or put on any other spoiler and fill the holes.

I called Ash a few times and he said it came in last December, but he hasn’t got back to me for months. Have texted him a few times, but he says he’s not been active in the forum. I’d prefer the original, but have brought a plastic high level one as it’s the best I could find as I was worried about the boot lid rotting from advice at meets. Thankfully the lid is fine, so just need to tidy it up with either another hens tooth swb spoiler or fit the plastic one and fill the holes with a panel. Thanks.

Spoilers are the same lwb to shorties mate. I'll give him a message to remind him but there might be a complication coming if not sorted soon

Can you pm me your details again its in our warehouse, there's been a lot of changes, my colleague who was going to drop it to you no longer works for us and Im leaving soon too,

I'll get the invoice sorted Monday and we'll organise an evening I'll bring it down myself after work if that's OK.

Sorry completely forgot about it, it's hidden in a special part of the warehouse with my other new zed parts bumper fenders stickers.
