Hi guys I'm having a bit of an issue with the zed and wondering if anybody can offer any insight.

I have been driving the last few weeks without any issue, however I come to leave work today and can't get her to start. Turn the key and all the electrics come on, turn it further to start and can feel/hear the starter kicking in but no life. Try again and same thing happens. I get out the car and can smell fuel, I'm not sure if this is indication of a leak or just the unignited fuel in the engine.

Since ownership iv not checked the spark plugs, but the car was serviced before purchase.

 

Anything else I could look out for or check?

When you say you can hear the starter kicking in do you mean the engine does turn over but doesnt fire up or the engine doesnt turn over?

If you can smell fuel see if you can trace the location of where its coming from first before going too deep. Have a good look at the fuel rail areas and the pipework to and from the filter and across to the pressure regulator and damper. And under the car if its not leaking in the engine bay.
