Utterly utterly fed up, just had a load of welding done in the rear arches, went to refit the fuel tank, last bolt tightened up , check all around and drip drip drip, yes the xxxing tank has rusted through under one of the straps, so close to scrapping this thing now,

Did you not notice the rust when you removed it? Don’t give up mate, I’m sure someone will have a petrol tank available from a breaker.

Whilst you are getting a replacement have you checked the filler pipe to the tank for corrosion? It is not

that unusual for them to rust out and start leaking.
