May have oversold this one a bit  I hit a mega pothole yesterday in my Accord. Check this bad boy out!

It wasn't obvious that it was a bloody quarry before I hit it, in the the light and a shadow and what not. But hell it hit hard. I knew within 3 seconds it'd burst and pulled up and did a F1 grade space saver swap.

I'm waiting at a tyre place in Shrewsbury atm, getting rid of the yellow wheel of shame. Which was pretty flat haha. But I found a petrol station within 2 miles.

Hopefully I'll claim it back from Chester council. I'll let you know how I get on.

Other notes, the car drove fine on the space saver, absolutely fine haha. I took it easy mind.

Also, yesterday I did the ninja warrior thing in Manchester and it was awesome. Well worth a visit if you're ninja grade. :)

That looks like every road around here...... lol

Seems the Ice and snow have destroyed all road surfaces somehow...... amazing how they don't seem to have this problem in countries that see loads of Ice and snow!

Hope you get a replacement wheel and tyre sorted from council......

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

This happened to me on the motorway at about 5am this time last year. It actually bent the steel rim in a good inch or two, was like being hit in chin, instant flat. As quite exciting having not long woken up. As I was changing it a car pulled in, had done him front and rear.

Hopefully I'll claim it back from Chester council. I'll let you know how I get on.

Well good luck with that, i hit one that ruined my tyre about a year ago and the stance they took was 'because we don't know about it then we've not had the opportunity to mend, so do one basically !!!

Our UK roads are in an appalling condition but at 4 and 5 degree nights the councils continue to throw salt down - go figure !!

You should have quoted theit comments in 99% of cases Ignorance is not an excuse in law !

Not knowing is not a defence, the condition of the road is there responsibility, just push them and don't accept any fobbing off.

Has anyone seen the Facebook post with “Darren” the council worker from Chester measuring pothole depths to see if they need to be repaired or not? The council (and Darren) got absolutely slaughtered for it!

Yes saw that Joel as well, absolutely unbelievable. Talk about an own goal by the Council. Spent a while reading through the comments and looking at the pictures left be everyone.

Cheaper to pay out than fight it !

Nice one Tom :thumbup1:

Excellent result Tom - these b@stards need to be held responsible; it's what we pay our taxes for.... Local and national.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
