i'm getting a strange vibe through the back wheels feels like driving over gravel any ideas

Do a search on "vibes" that will provide you with plenty of results, its common to be the center bearing on the prop, but on my old one it turned out to be a bent or warped driveshaft or halfshaft (whatever they call em on zeds).

 

Im treading on dodgy ground on this forum by saying this but you have checked the rear wheelnuts are all done up tight?!!!

also get you rear wheel balance checked too. You shouldnt be charged to have it checked.

Had similar prob, jack car up and rotate wheels, check to see that there are no blebs/lumps on inside or outside of tyre, if you take it too get wheel balance checked this should be noticed by fitter any way, mine had a big bleb on tyre bought new tyre and made a world of difference
