Some good choices there Sudesh....!

For me, my favourite film ever (which also has, IMO, the best soundtrack), is Highlander....

Then, in no particular order....

All three Austin Powers movies

Superman The Movie

Superman II

When Harry Met Sally

Running Scared

The Back To The Future trilogy

All the Indiana Jones movies

Jack Reacher (the first one)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Good choices there Richard, forgot about back to the future, will be be watching those tonite.

Another one I like is "The last song" I'm a big fan of "Nicholas Sparks" books; and they turned into movies.

Grand Prix

Le Mans

Top Gun

Alien Trilogy (didn't think much of the fourth)

Prometheus

All the star wars movies but the first 3 were best

Benny and Joon

oh yes and 2001a space odyssey and 2010 odyssey 2

Yeah totally on the Stars movies, the fist 3 original were the best. Han Solo was the man! And the Falcon was the best ship.

I have all the original stuff still in boxes in my attic.

V For Vendetta

It's a brilliantly perceptive observation of the rise of a fascist dictatorship and how a how easy it is for a gifted orator to grab hold of a society by first creating crisis and divisions and then offering solutions.......the price of which is of course power concentrated in th hands of the 'saviour'.

Sorry if that's a bit heavy.......it's also got Natalie Portman :-)

Love V for vendetta, I bought all the gear for Halloween nites out, it's just perfect as you never see anyone else trying to copy it.

Some of my top favourites are 'Bladerunner (original) 'Get Carter' (original) 'Close Encounters of a third kind' '2001 a Space Odyssey', 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles', 'The fourth protocol', 'Little Miss Sunshine', Full Metal Jacket, 'Forrest Gump' are the ones that spring to mind.

Haven't heard of that one Charles, must check out.....

Pushing Tin is a good film

For me it is a series of 80's and 90's movies, plus a few modern ones:

Directorially, I am a Luc Besson fan, so my fave movie is also a Natalie Portman movie - LEON. Jean Reno and Gary Oldman as well!

Some of the dialogue is just brilliant.

And then, the Alien trilogy (just like Si), Full Metal Jacket, Fight Club, Akira, Ferris Bueller, the first F&F movie, Pulp Fiction, Scarface, Goodfellas and more recently Lucy and The Ghost in the Shell.

All the above I must have watched countless times. The first Alien movie still scares the crap out of me (I first watched it as an 8yr old)! Alien Covenant wasn't that bad really as well.
