Drain the old oil. Similar to trans, drain plug on the bottom, fill plug is on the left side for NA, and right side rear for TT.

NA or TT?

NA is on the left side half way forward.

TT is on the rear on the right (iirc ive never filled a tt one)

Also pro tip make sure you can find and open the fill hole before you start

Ah whoops, school boy error not undoing the fill hole plug first, surprising how easy that mistake is made.

The fill plug is there, higher than the drain around the side, clean off the drivers side if the diff with a brush and some cleaners and you will see it, be careful not to round it off as it will be very tight.

As Jeff said, its on the side, and the same as with the drain hole, you use a square socket drive in it.

This is the drain hole right?

As Nissan reccomend in my post above, it should only be up to the fill hole.

I imagine either it was jacked up and overfilled or not level when you opened it.

Hi

Hope I'm not too late, but the MT90 is not suitable for the diff. You need a GL5 oil, so the Red Line 75w-90 GL5 is the one to go for. GL4 oils, like the MT90 cannot cope as well with the pressure and will break down fairly quickly in the diff.

Cheers

Tim

Redline MT90 75w90 is good stuff.

It is, but for gearboxes!
