Hi,

As most of you probably know I am in the middle of rebuilding my engine!

Is there a comprehensive list anywhere showing the hoses that would be easier to replace when rebuilding a z engine?

I don't want to replace the obvious ones that are easy to replace with the engine in situ!

Please feel free to "fire" away with any fireman related engine building hose jokes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought you should be the hose expert

BOOM, BOOM, TISH!

Try twinturbo.net. I think more people there would have done thier own rebuild and may be able to help you more.

But basically, get your hands on a load of vacume hose and replace it all if you can. Wont do any harm.

Mark,

Try a search, I'm sure that Duffer and Sweary Mary (Nico) have posted on this in the dim and distant !

Cheers Andy,

I have found the complete hose list in the FAQ of TTNet, it details the part number of every hose, on a Z rebuild.

I nearly got a hard on, I think I have to achieve closure around this engine rebuild soon!

Perhaps you can put them on, on your day off in 11 days.

BOOM BOOM TISH!

;)

Only joking. Im with ya!

I just did this about two weeks ago. You should replace all water lines and while the motor is out if your power steering hoses are weeping replace them too. Its much easier to do that with the motor out!
