So my question is if they did TT version engine in convertibles?

I could not find any info about it. ALl cars what I found were non turbo...

No they didn’t do TT in a vert that’s why I changed mine as I had a TT slicktop so needed the power

I have a vert which is an N/A and enjoy it the way it is you don't need extra power when the hood is down your just cruising. that's my opinion.. but I have an normal lwb TT for the extra power if I wanted..

Too bad. Even it doesn t really matter, as I have a 370Z roadster, and has enough power..

I think too, that is enough for a convertible the power that it has.

No, they weren't all NA strictly speaking.

Nissan's own Indy500 pacecar was a a Twin Turbo convertible and Straman also converted TT models to convertible. You won't find any here or in Japan though.

I found a rather interesting data about convertibles

1993 - 501 units (421 for North America, 80 for Japan) *(9,124)

1994 - 882 units (837 for North America, 45 for Japan) (6,222)

1995 - 289 units (253 for North America, 36 for Japan) (4,155)

1996 - 29 units (all Japan) (2,054)

* Total number of zx300's sold per year.

Production of the Z convertible for North American market was ended in March, 1996. For the Japanese market: September 1998.

Where did you get those figures? The convertible went on sale in Japan in '92.

The model was shown at the '91 Tokyo Motor Show.

Wonder if that's my car lol

Nice photo's Andrew..

I couldn't help but notice that the vertical lips below the sills are black, as are mine.

Accentuates the curvature really well in my oppinion.

Thanks. I asked because the numbers for total built differ from those published in the Nissan 300ZX 350Z. The Z-Car Story" by Brian Long.
