Does anyone feel brave enough to offer a mechanical opnion on a prospective Z purchase ???

Well, we tried, if you find one you like, you best get the RAC or AA to check it out, alternatively take it for an MOT at a reputable garage of your choice at your expense, if the seller is guenuine they should shouldnt say no to this, cos if it passes and you change your mind they get a free 12 months ticket.

 

Alternatively i know Jeff at zedworld does pre purchase vehicle inspections but it will not be cheap as he would have a long way to travel. Might be worth giving him a call, he may know of someone down there.

I live in Salisbury which isn't that far but i don't feel i know enough to offer sound advice. Admittedly having done quite alot of work on the Z and spending so long on here i amlearning more and more though.

Thanks for the input guys, but I was visited by the beer fairies last night and they releived be of some cash and left me pondering my point on this Earth. With the clarity that only comes with a hangover, I have been convinced to buy my other half the MR2 she wants instead of replacing my Z. Ah well, will have to wait a while now....Once again, thanks for the help.

I'm a little confused mate to say the least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As of 1.30pm yesterday afternoon after your test drive you were going to pop back in a couple of hours and drop me off a £500.00 deposit, then come and collect the car this evening.

 

I've already told 1 potential buyer who called yesterday afternoon that the car was sold because of what you said, ie: i'm having the car, and had no reply to the 2 messages i have left on your mobile.

 

If this was a wind up it is in very poor taste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I would appreciate it if you would let me know either way, just out of courtesy.:mad:
