Hey guys!

Recently I have fellen in love with these cars and should be placing a deposit on one this weekend. The garage is an import warehouse based in Middlesbrough and the car is a recent import TT from 1991.

I'm just wondering if anybody has had any dealings with thecarwarehouse.co.uk? and if the 1991 TT model has any known issues?

Once they hit 25 years old lol. Somebody didn't do their research, i've got one 28 years old, which yes is 10 years older than I am :(

Well done Scott enjoy the ownership mate. Good work on taking time out to help him Si and as for the sales man remarks well that just makes him look silly.

As I said to him this afternoon, I wish someone had been able to come and have a look at my first Zed with me before I bought it!

I think I remember you bought a swb three wheeler

That's my second Zed. I was referring to my old black one... ;)

He's actually bang on about that, Si. Only problem is they're buying them from Japan, not England!

Why would Yanks want to import RHD Zeds when they have a plethora of LHD ones already there...?

Unless people over there really want a turbocharged "station wagon" instead of a proper Zed....

I have no idea, and yet they do. Some want a 2+2 or slicktop TT, which I can understand. Others want to drive a RHD car because they presumably lack brain cells or something.

After a 3 hour drive home and a much needed nap I can proudly say I'm now a 300zx owner! I'm over the moon with the car and just need to wait out the UK registration period now.

Would like to thank you all for you help with special thanks going to Tom and Mondo, you both went out your way to help and I likely wouldn't be in this position now without you. If you ever need any IT tech help, I'm your man.

Now I guess iv just gotta look for nice things to buy for her while I wait...

As long as you're a happy new owner, then it's all gravy. :)

Good to meet you today, Scott - happy to help out and I hope your new moneypit gives you a big smile every time you go out in her!

Quick update for you guys, I picked the car up last Saturday and had a lovely 150 mile drive home in it. No faults so far other than the gearbox feeling a bit hot after some spirited driving and the car sounding like a jet on idle. (not sure if this is normal? appears to be coming from the engine fan and is pretty constant)

Anyway, they touched up the seat bolsters and I think they did a fantastic job and turns out it has an Altia rear panel (Credit Tom for enlightening me on this)

Thanks again for all the good vibes and hope I can be an active member in the community, heres some vanity shots of the beast:
