Im thinking of selling the zed..... but to build another one. Basically I want to build a fairly lary zed and looking at the TwinZ wide arch kit etc.

 

My current zed is sooooooo nicely done i don't think i can actually do what i want to this one as its such a nice example as is. I bought it to use as a good base however I think its actually too good to cut up for a wide arch conversion.

 

My predicament:

 

Take this zed and build it how i want it or sell and go down the SWB route that i was originally looking for, for a big build.

 

I welcome your thoughts on this as im torn.

 

Darren put far too much time and effort into that car to start cutting it up, I'd say. Plus there are very few wide SWBs in this country, and certainly none with the Twinz kit on.

 

So sell this, buy a Shortie and then butcher it to fit the fibreglass. But please!!! blend the kit in, rather than leaving all the rivets on show - standard fitting looks absolutely horrific! :thumbup1:

what ever car i did it on would deffo be blended as i much prefer the smooth look.

If you are thinking about a SWB then no matter how good a 2+2 you have and how much money you throw at it it will never be the car you really want.

So get rid.

yes think you are right. my last project went a little OTT so i want to keep this one smooth. however when i was originally looking i wanted a black swb like i had before and ended up with this just because of how well built it was.

Sell your one, let someone else cherish it for what it is and buy a new one to creat your dream. (Also if you find the new creation isn't what you hoped it might be then you may be able to re buy the old girl.)

Yeah agreed and i see what you're saying however on the other hand this is mint inside and out and only 35k on the clock so its a perfect car for a build.

If i sell the other prob is what is a good price for it? im seeing ok to mid range zeds going for 5-6k and this one is one of the best ive seen with only 35k on the clock?
