.....The new word record holder.....

http://www.foxnews.com/auto/2017/11/06/278-mph-koenigsegg-agera-rs-is-new-worlds-fastest-car.html

....And some 4 seconds faster to 249mph than the Chiron...

Granted, the Chiron still has some final testing to be conducted - but that 'Segg is one hell of a fast car for sure....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

It's not 4 seconds faster than the chrion, it's about 9 seconds. 33vs42 seconds.

The Chiron is simply too heavy to compete.

Probably Ali - I read a couple of reports throughout the day and just took the average...

Either way, I am pleased something else has emerged on that scene other then the Hennessey...

They did the 36 second run a week after the Chiron's on ww2 concrete which was bad, so they came back and beat it on smooth tarmac.

They've been around though. I remember the ccx being unruley when it came out.

There was a story on SuperCar Build last week about the new car they are building that that has adaptive spoilers that ony rise when they are needed. There are four spoilers one at each corner that operare indepenently

Its got a Twin tubo merc engine, V10 or V12

Mercedes don't build a V10, they haven't for years. It'll likely be the V12 you're thinking of.

Was that the Pagani Huayra? (2 headed god/beast of wind )
