Ha ha!!! I haven't done any work for about two months now!

"alt" & "tab" is quicker to minimise than moving the mouse! a lovely little trick when someone is coming!

James.

Agreed, I'm a bit of an "alt-tab" man, myself

It's all got a bit ridiculous here - even my PA says "oh no, not ZZZZZZZZ again!" - Busted.

Still, I'm the boss, so who cares! And as for setting a good example, this entire location (and all aboard) are all being sliced in 6 months time, so fook it!:D

LMAO - get on MSN too and bye bye day :D

300's seem to appeal to IT geeks who are addicted to computer games.:D :D :D

I don't play computer games, and I don't work in IT.:D

I'm with Nelson on this one!!! (How funny does that feel??)

Seems that if ur into IT then u get urself a Z. The guy I've just bought mine off was an IT bloke too.

And no I'm not in IT before you ask. I'm a real life paper pushing engineer!!

Nick;)

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

Hmmm, not sure where I stand on this one ....

I was in to Z's long before I was into IT - 240/260's in the old days, and of course when the 300zx TT came along (and more importantly when I could afford one) I simply had to have one!

So it's a chicken and egg situation - did the Z's inspire me to follow a career in IT, or was there a latent "geekism" in me which caused me to like Z's in the meantime.

I might add, however, that generally I find computers infernal machines, that invariably conspire to make your life harder ... there a means to an end, and no, I don't like computer games much.

I might add, though, that Mrs John-Boy, thinks that the most geekish thing I do if forever looking at this bloody forum - so what does that make the rest of you non-IT-types, eh Nelson?:D :D

I think you need a career in IT just to afford the petrol!

i'm called happybunny, give me a game

Other way of doing it is to have a number of various packages open ie tinternet, word, lotus notes etc, in smaller screens on you're main screen. With careful positioning you just move your mouse to one side and click thus bringing up that report you are busy writing for the boss and he doesnt see that you're logged on here chattin!!! No mysterious arm reach for ALT-Tab required either!

Nick

PS bugger here he comes now!

I pretend to work, they pretend to pay me!

Yep - that's what I do too. I have this forum, ScoobyNet, 5ive-0 all open and various windows for the various forums. :D

However, we're quite lenient here so it's not an issue unless I'm ignoring work.

I used to surf the forum quite a bit at work but got caught out thanks to someone grassing on me off this forum.

My work printed out all the urls called from my machine, to say we almost ran out of paper is an under statement :D

Now I am only allowed to surf out of hours as my logs are regularly checked :(

Thanks ............

Martin

web cache logs are killed dead by SSL anonsurf ;) There will be no trace of you ever being on any sites, perfect :p
