If I hadn’t set my heart on a new motorbike, I’d be very tempted with this

Good luck with the sale Pete

A good start to the week for me. I tokk the slicktop for an MOT and came back with a pass and no advisories.

My hard work in preparation has paid off.:thumbup1:

This is the first time I have driven the car in manual form. It all seems good but I am only a mile from the test centre.

I need to get it taxed and put a few miles on it.

The last time I drove it was when I bought it back in nov 2012 when it was an auto.

Thats 5 years ago!!:scared:

FFS where does the time go ???

If there was ever something that might tempt me back....!

IMO its a good tidy example of a fairly rare car here in the UK. I have spent a good amount of money on some later spec upgrades like the lights and front bumper.

I havnt had any opportunity yet to drive it far yet due to the weather and a nasty dose of manflu but so far it seems great.

It wouldnt take a lot to bring this up to OEM + show quality. Equally it can just be used and enjoyed as it is.

Viewing without obligation or sales pressure welcome.

Ah you don't need to give me that email Pete, its been a while but I remember walking down that driveway on a freezing cold December evening with a manual conversion kit. Something like 9 years ago!

Withdrawn for sale at the moment untill I resolve this misfire.

The first positive news is that a compression check shows the engine internally is fine.:thumbup1:

Im getting some help from someone with a Conzult to diagnose the problem.

Other commitments including a week in Spain are going to prolong the process:thumbdown:

Little bit disappointed because I'm looking forward to collecting this wonderful looking Z. But at least I'm in good hands with a trusted senior Club member.

That is why I am prepared to wait out and be patient for when its ready for me to come and collect, I know it will be worth the wait. SWB hardtop manual in my favourite colour and my second being black. Especially with the 99 bits that doesn't come up very often! :thumbup1:

My plan for the Z it is to keep the appearance OEM and bring it up to Showroom condition. These cars have a natural beauty to them and don't need some silly body kits on them that I've seen on other cars no offence to anybody lol. I'm coming from a single Turbo Supra 600 PS. Fed up with everybody stockpiling parts and everything is crazy expensive nowadays for them that's the attitude but a lot of them have with the mentality every supra needs to be 1000 horsepower lol. It's being sold end of the month. That leaves me with my 2002 100% stock S15 manual spec s. Then hopefully this one? Then I will have my two favourite best looking Japanese car's.
