Hi Guys,

Where should the engine oil needle ideally be on the gauge within the rev counter?

Cheers

My understanding is once at normal temp between 30 and 60....is ideal...

Just don't get boosting it around when you just got in your Z......120 is not a good thing I wouldn't think...

But as I said 30 to 60 is ideal once at normal running temp.

The oil pressure sender is a notoriously unreliable device though. They regularly indicate no pressure at all and only seem to last a few years when replaced.

I'll second that....When my gauge isn't reading 30 to 60 it reads 0

I knew i'd forget something smile.gif

I usually do.....hang on where's my head?

sorry if I am coming across a little dim as I am new to these cars but does that mean the needle should be on the '4' when you have your foot down....???

my oil guage some times says 0 psi when i first start up but a good bang on the dash always sorts that one out lol
