PTU Testing

Hi Guys, i was wondering if its possible to test a ptu series 1 off the vehicle, i've got access to a psu if that helps.

    Also, i read on the Australian 300zx site a repair to a series 1 PTU, has anyone here attempted this and if so what was the result?
