Don't go for 'cheap'.

 

I went with NISMO bushes throughout as Andrew has posted. Didn't want the harder PU bushes and wanted to retain an element of comfort.

    If you want to do it on a budget you could always fit a good s/h pair of OEM tension rods - they do exist. It is pretty

    obvious when they fail (as you have found out). Post a "wanted" advert in the "Zed related - Parts" section on the

    forum and see if something comes up.
