Buy a new one, they're only about £35 iirc. You'll need a new ash tray though as the plastics won't match. Makes a big difference having nice new plastics, definitely worth it IMO over old shiny worn plastic.

If you do find a used one Chris, ask the seller to pay particular attention to the areas shown. There are 2 tabs there that commonly break, they lock the rear section of the trim under the armrest assembly and keep it secure back there.

They're relatively inexpensive to buy new if you struggle to find a good used one.

 

 

 

It really is a no brainer, you will not get condition wise anywhere near a new one buying used, my tabs were broke when i got the car and i put up with it for years :no:.

I think he just hijacked the photo from a centre console removal guide. Probably the piece and not the screws :)

Worth every penny! They'll be obsolete within a few years I guarantee.

Blimey, I didn't know we could buy them off the shelf, smashing. I will be busy later, ordering both console and ashtray chaps. Ta very much for the help and advice. Nice one :-)
