Boot lid switch for courtesy light

Struggling to get the courtesy light to switch off when closing the boot lid.

Shuts and locks okay, but the light stays on unless I really slam the the lid excessively.

I'm guessing there is a switch somewhere, can someone point me in the right direction please?

Maybe just needs a little TLC.

    The switch is hidden inside the latch. If you adjust the latch enough, it will work. You need to adjust it so that it latches as tight as you can get it before it won't latch after a hard slam....if that makes sense?

    If the latch bolts are loose it wont make the contact it needs for the circuit :thumbup1:
