Ages ago I bought some japspeed decat pipes, Ive only just tried to fit them and found a problem (well I havent, my mechanic has)

He says that the section that bends upwards to connect to the engine is all wrong and doesnt fit. Is there a short section of pipe that they connect to before conecting to the manifold? I found this:

but that doesnt show the manifold bits

I just looks like the decats bolt on to the manifolds.

 

Have I bought TT pipes advertised as NA, are they different? or is my mechanic being a pain?

sounds like they are TT Pipes to me

They just bolt up to the Manifolds.

 

Japspeed do sell a TT set that bolt up to their own Divorced Wastegate Turbo Downpipes,and wouldn't fit the NA manifolds.

No definitely NA decats and bolt up to the manifolds

ok, ill get a 2nd opinion from somewhere and see if they will still fit. tHanks to all!
