Having brought a Oem rear spoiler last year from a club member I have come to fit to find the studs are rusted and won't bolt through the boot of the car, any advice on best way to fit it or is it scrap? Can it be bonded? Should this be done before or after spraying the car?

Yes there are 2 rusty studs and 2 others right on the tips of the spoiler that would have been bolted as you said from the inside of the boot but they are useless now

The fixings on the tips are plastic clips (along with the other four along the leading edge). Part# 96070-42P20

You could glue it on where the original double sided tape was. Sikaflex or tech 7 or something similar from the hardware store
