Took her for a full valet today as she was so dirty after being so long at the paint shop,he never bothered to cover the engine bay like I asked him so it was awful, but after a full day cleaning the car and engine bay, here is the result....so much better, now it finally looks like a zed should look...what's your thoughts?

Fitted two new switch surrounds today, someone had used the wrong size bolts and broke them and that rattle of them drove me bonkers...but now all is well no more squeaky rattle ever time you drive over harsh road surface

Another nice tip is my door cards were rattling so removed them both and fixed sound deading to the inside of the doors, then removed all old clips from the door cards again some of these were broke, then fitted new clips but clips had rubber washers fitted and wow not a single rattle from anywhere....and the door sounds so much solid when you close them well worth the time and effort.

Can’t wait to have my interior to be done by Hide N Seat she’ll be nice when that’s done

So having put a few miles on the old girl and using it more I have noticed a few small issues cropping up.

Firstly getting vibration feed back from the car on braking, lots of rattling from rear interior after rebuilding it from paint shop,on hard cornering the rear end bouning a lot and felling like its ready to let go,and my exhaust rattling on rear bumper...apart from that she’s great lol

So after some investigation last night I found that the rears bumper hadn’t been put on properly all kinds of bolts missing, then found that the rear exhaust box had a rubber spilt so causing the exhaust to pull one way to the bumper, then as I was inside the rear wheel arch I noticed that the rear suspension didn’t look to cleaver, oil leaking from both of them, and looking at the front discs I think they have had corrosion on them from being stood for so long and they have badly scored so they need changing,so goes to show even a low mileage zed that’s been stood for 10 years isn’t god for it,but after looking at the car in general there’s not a scrap of rust underneath she’s perfect

condition so that’s good.
