Came home last night to a nice surprise:) great to fit some new nissan parts,

Nice!! I had a delivery a few days ago too - new OEM parts make me warm inside! haha

One thing to point out though mate, the t-top covers are for US spec cars and have a nice big hole in the finisher for a key-lock.

Some more

Spoiler gone for good? I wouldn't mind putting my mitts on it ;)

Handbrake and matching gaiter, again both back to just how Nissan intended! I just have some rear speaker covers to do and then everything can be sent back to Graham :thumbup1:

Can't wait to get them fitted si:) great job can't wait to see them in the flesh... Don't forget to do me another steering wheel bud:)

No worries Gray I just have a bit of an addiction lol

Was it hard getting the spoiler off? I looked at mind and it looks like its bolted as well as bonded in

No worries alic,I'm getting quite fond of the car as it is:) the spoiler was easy to get of,there are self tapping screws under the trim in the boot, three of them in my case, then there is double sided tape holding it in place at the edge of the spoiler and boot,be very carful not to just pull at the wing as you may break it, I pushed a thin piece of plastic In Between the spoiler and boot lid to break the seal and it came away with a little persuasion, hope this helps;) oh the trim in the boot is held on with tiny plastic screwed inserts, and belive me this was harder to remove than the spoiler!

I know about the boot seals. Did you cut the self tapping screws off from the inside?

Dental floss, button thread and such like, does this job very well .

Yeah I was just wondering if you have to cut the self tapping screws of because that would prevent reinstall via the screws correct?

Well...bit of an update,as we all know with these projects they never go to plan, after ordering loads of Oem parts and having to remove the front glass,it's really slowed this up:( but was a good job we decided to remove the glass as it was leeking, discoloured and when it was removed the glass vertically fell out:w00t:all the window seal had gone hard and started to move, so new window orderd and fitted( blue glass) looks so much better and fresh with new glass,so now back on track roof painted and new trim to put on,should be finished early next week, then waiting for new front lights to arrive from Luke and I can start rebuilding it.

Quick update just just in case anyone thought this project was dead.....because I did...lol,times gone so fast but it is coming along nicely, you know what it's like once you start with these cars you add on forever jobs get bigger and you don't know when to stop spending, cash runs away with it,I'd hate to add up what I've sunk into this now but I've no intention of stopping:),the car should be ready to collect from the body shop in the next few days (thank god)... Newly installed ice is fitted, new head unit with satnav, reversing camera and phone system, then just got to fit brand new interior parts I've had for months both from zed centre and our simon Lee:) new wheels and tyres ready to go on and shouldn't be far of then,I'll post some pictures when I receive the zed ....can't bloody wait
