It's to remind you to check your seatbelt because the brakes are so crap that you're probably about to hit something.

I have had cars which do this even though the bulbs are all OK, I ended up changing the bulbs one by one until I found a lazy one and it was OK.

Check your brake fluid maybe????

If it is an import dose it have a fog light if on they have used your inner brake lights for the fog lights there for your wiring light comes on as it thinks bulbs have gone . Take out the bulb on the dash.:)
