I will enquire..I used to do the breakfast car club there with my wide arch xsara and CXOC. its a great place to be honest.

Thank you for your enquiry regarding booking a 300zx car rally at the Royal Air Force Museum Cosford.* If you wish to book your event, then can I please ask you to complete the booking form attached and confirmation will be sent out to you.

Car parking charges of £3.00 for up to 3 hours and £4.00 for up to 8 hours do apply (there may be an increase next year).

We can arrange a guided tour if you do so wish at a cost of £30 per tour, maximum 15 people per group.

The museum has 75 aircraft on display in three wartime hangars and in the National Cold War Exhibition. The museum is ideally located for a visit being just a mile from junction 3 on the M54. Admission is free of charge.

The museum is open daily from 10.00hrs to 17:00hrs (March to October) and 10:00hrs to 16:00hrs (November to March).

Hi Steve

 

I have directed this email to both of you as we are not quite sure what happened with your original emails! but my colleague Louise has forwarded me your enquiries so please find attached a proposal based on my understanding of your requirements along with the current catering options.

 

In summary, if you would like to hold an AGM on a weekend the rate for the venue hire of the Conference Room is £250.00 per day plus VAT. The room can certainly accommodate 50 members (maximum capacity is 130 theatre style), depending on the amount of attendees the room can be sub-divided with the meeting held in one half and any catering held in the other.

 

I have attached the current catering menus above (refreshments start on page 3 and buffets from page 9).

 

I hope this information helps in the first instance and if you have a date in mind please let me know.

Event Details

Requirements: Conference Room

 

The Conference Room would be the appropriate space for your event. This is a purpose built facility, fully equipped with Audio Visual equipment and can seat a maximum of 130 theatre style.

 

Refreshments and Lunch can be served in the Visitor Centre which is a stunning part glass building inspired by the shape of bi-plane complete with wooden flooring and runway lighting to create a dramatic effect.

 

 

 

Please consider the following rates for your event:

Thanks for looking into this Steve and you could end up being an events organiser for us. Prices are high when compared to the hire of room and food at Coventry but nice to have another option.

They have also said that if we want to have some guided tour of the museum for 2-2 half hours they can arrange this at a cost. Maybe something to look at if you are interested....

Well this has taken a turn for the amazing...I posted on Facebook to spread the Zed word and I have been inundated with requests from 350, 280 and older Zed owners who want to come. I assume you guys wouldn't mind me saying yes to all of them and we should be having every Z car attend with us. It will be a great event. I have also now made the commemorative sticker and will post a pic in a mo...

Bugger, I have double booked myself with work on Z day......looks like I wont be attending. I will make sure everything is sorted so that all you guys have to do is turn up. I will promo the hell out of it this month too so that we get a great turn out of Z classics. Sorry guys, so peeved!
