Midnight arrival prob not best idea, but hey first leg complete of a 6 thousand mile round trip, pain in ass that have no direct flights from Portugal , Cyprus tomorrow for 12 day holiday yippee !!

Good grief, he's already got bored of the sun and relaxing every day by the sea sipping coffee and eating cake, so now hes going to Cyprus to enjoy the sun, sipping coffee and eating cake..... oh! it's a life. Lol.

That's quite the long-way-round! Obviously there are unlikely to be direct flights between Faro and Larnaca. Could you have flown via Frankfurt or something with Air Berlin?

Yes looked at all the options including brussels but the connecting flights were a 6 or 7 hour wait, bugger that detest hanging around airports as it is and actually worked out cheaper to include an overnight stop in UK.

There's not much in Gatwick anyway. Not so bad having a layover in Heathrow as you're only a short tube ride away from whatever. Enjoy you holiday! I've heading back to America next month. Off to France this evening - my boobie prize for not being able to make it to the NEC for set-up day yesterday!
