Cheers Dan. I've seen a few pictures & it does look straight forward

if you can get one drive shaft off and then can just unslot the other side once its all free its pretty heavy so watch it

I know mate I hurt my back lifting one a few years ago but Phutumsch has kindly offered to help me remove it.

you will be fine with 2 of you

It's hell of heavy. If you dropped it on your face from 12" up I doubt you'd live to tell the tale. I tried refitting one on my own, quickly realised it was a bad idea. Me and a friend got it in but due to the lack of space laid on our backs we had to lift at a funny angle, most of the weight with one arm, was shite. If I was going to do it again I think I'd refit the whole frame assembled.

Ali and I took his off (mostly Ali), but used a trolley jack to take all of the weight and then dragged/rolled it on that

Right so subframe removal 101:

Remove exhaust and unbolt rear prop section.

Unhook handbrake cables

Unbolt rear callipers and hang them so brake lines don't break.

Undo the bottom bolt of each shock absorber

Now last four subframe bolts at each corner.

Make sure you have a jack underneath and it should lower dow n.

Then unbolt diff and half shafts, put new diff in... Reverse process
