Anyone who knows me knows i have a bad fetish for these bad boys (i cross old ladys across the road too)..anyway couple months buried in the cave should see it right.:yes: And it needs a clutch along with a few light jobs,but how easy is this for fitting a clutch?:thumbup1:

I remember driving a new one of them back in the day, it was D reg 1987/88 used to do loads of tip runs with rubble, always overloaded ( you could get away with it then) did the job well though and quite nippy when empty lol

Still Nissan underneath Bri,worked on a few of the Renault,Nissan versions ,mainly engine rebuilds the d40 engine was utter shash,clutch was a piece of piss though Lol

headgaskets and chains and a loose main bearing cap of all things that had never been apart before !!! literally the bolts had undone and the crank was knocking like a fat kid on a sweetshop door !

d22 and d40 engines are made of cheese literally,Nissan did no favours for themselves with them,80k and the bottom end melts or the chain shits itself !
