Anyone thought about transplanting the engine , box and running gear from a zed into a kit car, for example a Dutton or Robin Hood ? anyone know what kits would be able to accept the parts ?

Cheers

I reckon you would be hard pushed to get enough traction on the rear wheels with a v6 lump in the front. I used to have a robin caterham replica kit thing with a 2L pinto engine and that was very tail happy!

... but the thought has crossed my mind a few times haha

With a spare car looking sad for itself it has been tempting to build a frame around it... but I havent got the time. Maybe in the future though.

seen it in a few things

favorite place for the engine besides the z32 is the concept mid-4 (looks funny the wrong way round)

I'm sure you could make a few kit cars accept the VG - but I don't reckon I'd do it for the same reason Wchestnutt mentioned above!

...Although it might work fine, mounted mid-ships, in something like a replica Lambo Countach...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
