AAC Valve

I have a 91 TT import and I am just doing some winter maintenance , Cleaning connectors etc can someone please tell me where the AAC Valve or Idle air unit is as I have read that its a good idea to clean with WD40 to cure sticky parts ETC

Cheers and Merry Xmas everybody

The aac is located on the back passenger side of the upper intake plenum. Follow the rubber hose (about 1" dia) from the passenger side round the back (very near the top) and pull it off the assembly it is attached to (the aac valve ;)). One point though, not sure I'd use WD40 - yeah its great at freeing stuff but it also leaves deposits which can then clog up again - IMO WD40 is sh1t ;) Buy yourself a can of carb cleaner from Halfords or most motor factors. Oh and did you know WD40 actually rusts things??? Yeah great for protecting against water init :D
