Well im gonna pay tribute tonight with 8 cans of stella and London's calling at full belt..

Its how he would have wanted it man!

Paul

He apparently had a heart attack at home on Sunday.

Truly one of the greats (it's an over-used accolade but this guy DEFINITELY deserved it)....and a really nice guy too. It's funny how these things go....I mean, there's 'Topper' Headon...self confessed Heroin addict for bloody years, still going, and Joe pegs out at 50 FFS!!

I admired him for many things....but especially for NOT getting the Clash back together (I know there were stories of it happening soon)...it would NOT have been the same.

I agree the Clash were brilliant and not getting back together was a wise move, they had their time and the music rocks and will always rock.

Joe Strummer was intelligent and cared about what he said and it showed I have a lot of respect for the man

I'm still in love with the blonde spiky haired bassist? Paul sime??? i forget his name:confused:

The bloke lived his life and did what made him happy,

Live your life today as yours may be up tomorrow

have a good one people and be grateful that you woke up this morning:D

The guy was Paul Simonon....but I'm a little disappointed Emero....you know , us guys end up just feeling like 'a piece of meat'...you know, just 'so used'. LOL!!

Doh!!

Didn't think that the first one had posted.....maybe I don't have that much to offer after all. LOL

No disrespect to Joe Strummer but he never really lit my fire, perhaps it just wasn't my type of music. However, I was very saddened by the death of Kirsty Macoll - another creative life cut drastically short, and just for a change not by booze or drugs.

i agree their are a lot guys out there who could offer me lots, first they have to "light my fire", compatibility is important.

think i will give up on men, just love me zed, they are easier(even after the year i've had with mine)

kirsty Macoll was awonderful lady and she knew how to sing, her death was bloody pointless too,

seriously disilliousioned with life (been at the wine again)

i need a party, any offers?

Man all the poxy psuedo muso assholes nowadays, they should have restraining orders on them to stop them going within 2 miles of a recording studio.

She had a few hits, like the "Fairlytale of New York" (with the Pogues) but most of her stuff wasn't really big chart type crap.
