Need urgent advise. Just come to fit my new front coil overs and am stuck on how to proceed. The photos shows the full extended BC and the standard OEM. The difference in length is massive. It just does not seem right. Can anyone guide as to the way towards asap

 

 

Looks pretty normal to me Neil, mine were the same. Just get them on :)

They will always be lower than stock shocks. Don't forget the spring rate is likely much higher, so with the cars weight the shock will compress far less, ie if they were equal length uncompressed the stock shock would be lower.

In short as Baz said stop messing about and fit them.

All fitted and good grief what a difference, I have had to turn the suspension damping to soft just to get some sort of ride comfort, just goes to show how tired the old OEM stuff was, very happy and massive thanks to Andyzx for working with me on the sale,
