Jess got me a Top Gear experience day for my birthday earlier in the year and finally the time has come where I get to do it. I'll be out on the Top Gear track in the morning for a few hot laps on the Kia Cee'd:lol:

 

We set off this morning for the 4 hour drive to the hotel where I've managed to get a good few scenic pics of the Z. Very nice building and grounds that this hotel is on, have to say I'm impressed! One downside however was when I ordered 2 glasses of Red wine and it came to £30!!! Think its safe to say my head will not be sore from the wine in the morning! :lol:

Sounds good Dave, although I did think you were gonna be driving around the country in a bargain car whilst being given a number of challenges. Got my car experience in a few weeks. Going to Leeds raceway & get to drive 5 cars, a Lamborghini gallardo, Ferrari 430, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911 & an Ariel Atom.

Sounds good! I've done quite a few now... Drifting last year, Ferrari experience, rallying, but I have to say the best I've done so far is the Formula fords at Silverstone

Great morning out at the track today. It was a lot of fun thrashing an everyday car. Best bit about it was they had to send me out for a second time because the USB didn't record it!!

No... That pic was on the car park. Tbh, I didn't even ask.. I really wanted to see if I could get my car in the studio but you park up at one side of the air field and a shuttle bus picks you up and takes you to the studio

Its been a good couple of days, now time for a hearty breakfast before our 235 mile drive back!

Well, finally got back home now! After deciding to have a quick drive down to Portsmouth (as we've never been) we then got stuck in some crazy tailback on the M40. Its just took us 8hrs to get home!

 

Over the 3 days, the Z covered 700 miles and ran faultlessly throughout. Sat in that traffic at 30 degrees heat for hours on end... I'm actually so proud of where this car has come from in the last 12 months. It is such a great motorway cruiser and after such a long time in the car with only a 5 min stop at the services we both felt great when we arrived home, so comfy those seats!!
