Julia and I popped out to our local pub for dinner this evening - nothing unusual there - however it turns out we have a small classic car club in the village that I never knew about....!

.....And they happened to meet at the pub tonight!! The landlord is a real petrol-head - and he knows I have the Zed - so insisted (well, actually tempted me with beer) to pop outside after we'd finished dinner. And I am pleased we did. They are a nice bunch of folks; an eclectic mix for sure, but it was great to meet everyone and naturally I had to join the club.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Any nice cars Rich?

A very nice kit-car, based on a Jag XJ6; a DB7 Volante Vangate v12, a pre-WW1 Rolls and the landlord's 1967 Mini Cooper S, bored out to 1380cc and packing 100bhp. A pre WW2 Autin and a rather lovely 1988 Lancia Delta Intergrale, to name but a few...

Like Craig, I'm not sure I'm ready to become a serious member, but I may pop along to the odd local breakfast meeting. Or evening at the pub...
