Its near Christmas folks and I really want to end the year on a good note.

I`m getting my Zed back from FG on Saturday and as promised I`ll post a thread about how Frank has done. I`m having a new front bumper and he`s pulling and spraying a couple of trolley knocks from the wings.

Let you know how it goes but at the moment, I`m full of confidence (and missing me ZED!!!)

Got the Zed back and all is good. I`m very happy with the work and shall be going back. Frank also had a TT he was fitting a full veil kit onto, in purple. Looked good too.

For my part I have no complaints about FG but as I know this is a very subjective issue I`ll say no more apart from Merry Chrimbly to you all!

Steve

That's good news. Who are FG and where ar ethey located ?. Do you have a URL ?

FG's gets my vote too!

Frank's fitted various bits for me and his work is top rate. He also delivered on time, or before, on each occasion.

He only ever seems to have Z's in, with only 1 or 2 exceptions, so he knows them inside out.

He's on Holme Street in Nottingham, just off Meadow Lane.

You can see his work on the bodyshop link of Zcentre.co.uk

His number's 0115 9860690

Glad you got a good Job from FG!

Give it six months and look out for rust coming through, laquer cracking and badly fitted bodykits coming away!

He has tried to con a friend of mine his Z had had a very bad crash, when it was perfect, so that he could buy it tart it up and sell it on!

Another friend has had very bad service there with FG taking no responsibility for his bad workmanship!

Hope he has changed his working practices for your Z's sake!

Sorry you've had a bad experience mate - I can only vouch for mine!

Frank first worked on my car about 3 and a half years ago, repairing some naff workmanship from a Nissan maindealer getting a crease out of my front wing where some t@sser had pulled into my side out a junction. It still looks like new !

He's fitted both front and rear spoilers for me, front about 2 years ago and rear this summer. Both went on fine.

My rear wing is the Stillen type 3, which is only designed for 2 seaters, not 2+2's and needed extensive modification to fit. Another z owner who'd had one said that when fitted wrong it causes buffetting at high speeds but mine works fine, looks fantastic, and gives me quite a bit of extra down-force !

I hope you have better luck elsewhere !

Only one down side now I`ve noticed......

My off side side light was cracked and Luke replaced the lens. Frank put the assembly back in....looks fantastic but unfortunately, he didn`t check whether it was working or not. Now I`ve gotta change the sidelight bulb myself...okay, small point but thoroughness is the name of the game.

Niggly point though, overall I`m very pleased. frank has blended the paint in very well and I`m more than happy with the finish and fitting.

Fare thee well.......

Well Frank did the front bumper '99 spec on my zx and I was very happy with his work. He was also accomodating with pikup/collect arr.

Apart from having rust come on the day I picked it up from a re-spray (at a point I original said needed looking at), I stupidly accepted the work FG did too.... until parts started falling off. Now I've got several under body repairs to do. and I need ot take it to another garage to fit the front up correctly. Obviously I can never go back to FG, they use cable ties to hold the front together. All this will probably cost me a few hundread quid.
