Hi,

 

I recently bought a timing belt tensioner on Z-Centre, after not having any contact for a week i decided to ring.

 

It turns out he has none in stock and wont be buying them until the pound increases in value. He said i will have to wait until the pound increases so he can buy them in which could take weeks.

 

Where can i get a new tensioner from in the UK?

 

My car is tapping on the top end so i cannot drive it, leaving me without a car. I need this job doing asap and the cam belt 120k service is due, so i refuse to take it all apart to put it back together again to take it all apart again to put it all back together...again.

 

Can anyone advise me?

Your options in the UK are probably only direct from Nissan then. You could get one from Concept Z quick enough and probably cheaper though.

Thankyou for the quick reply, i tried Nissan already and they do not supply them anymore. I will check out Concept Z and see if it is cheeper.

Concept Z is where I got my timing belt, for reference the shipping and Tax amounted to £30, but they don't tell you that until you've ordered it, so the shipping for the tensioner will be slightly less probably as a smaller box.

Holy moly, I'm ordering from Concept Z again. Just saved myself £50.
