Anyone know how easy/hard it is to replace just the face on the stock boost gauge? Will I have to start removing needles and suchlike...?

Not from what you can see in this pic. Just small mounting screws holding the clear frame and face in place. What are you up to?

Fuel level gauge mod? I experimented with this a few years ago and removed the dial face on a spare cluster I have. I can't remember exactly what needs removing but I do still have the gauge that I can take pictures of and refresh my memory. I do remember deciding that it was a little too risky as the mechanisms and counterbalance for the needle movements are very fragile.

Correct! I've just pulled my spare clocks apart and the boost gauge is completely separate to the speedo

I just need to replace the boost gauge (or the face of it) as I'm sick of it reading in "MMhgnrlhgskdsdb" instead of "PSI"
